Fabulous huge order vintage waffle weave shabby chic throw blanket 100% woven cotton in pale lilac 1950's

I have an obsession with vintage blankets and have grown to love too many so am parting with some fabulous pieces.

This is another beautiful 100% cotton heavy waffle weave in my collection of throws. This vintage blanket is so special as it was from the old "Manetta Mills" out of South Carolina which was a company that specialized in high end woven blankets and custom dyed pieces. The company was in business since the late 19thC and was acquired in or around 1990. Sadly it does not have its tag anymore but it's quality and beauty shine through!

This beautiful throw is hard to pin a precise date on but given its sister blankets that were tagged included an operator inspection read, likely dates this one to sometime around mid century.

This one has the most beautiful color I've ever seen and contrasted so beautifully with the pinks that I sold previously. A very pretty "shabby chic" era pastel lilac. These vintage blankets are hard to
come by as the vintage pieces hold quality that you just don't see today.

This blanket is so comfortable and makes the best shabby chic decor. It makes any room feel “cozy”. It can be used over a bed - at the end or on a chair etc. This one has very large - rare size.

This is a vintage textile and may show signs of previous love. Loose threading is typical with these woven cotton pieces but only adds to their shabby charm. This is a true vintage piece not a reproduction so signs of pre love should be appreciated. It has been well cared for by me laundered ever so gently and air dried.
