This is quite an interesting and uncommon piece, an old-style enamelware 3-tier food carrier with lid and handle.
The 3 containers stack up: the handle clips on the bottom dish to carry the set. This food carrier allows you to carry the different elements of a full meal together but separated: it was originally mostly used in work environments, when workers were too far from the kitchen (or on another site), their lunch was brought to them this way.
Now, see the possibilities! The ideal piece for a potluck dinner, to bring salads to a friend barbeque, take dinner to a friend, maybe even to keep separated the different kinds of cookies you made for a special occasion!...
You could of course use this caddy to take food on an outing (fishing...).
But then again, you could also use it as storage for some smaller craft supplies, or buttons!
Such a cool food carrier is not made anymore.
And being enamel, it should not take too much work order to polish this piece to a great shine!
The whole thing is in very good condition, very clean and pretty straight, with a few small dings here and there;
