NO CHEATING HERE! I use all the Official pieces of the Boy Scout Pinewood Derby Kit, hard work, Boy Scout genius, and generations of time-tested "Speed techniques" to create my race-winning cars.

SPECIFICATIONS:
* Lathe turned axles, de-burred and lubed with ultra-fine graphite
* Wheels are trued, rounded, and free of mold defects
* Coned hubs
* Car is weighted to 4.8oz, with external weights included to reach 5.0oz.
* Rolls on 3 wheels.
* 3 axles are in original axle slots, the 4th axle is in a hole drilled just above the axle slot.
* Wheels are mold-matched to give you an advantage over the competition!

MOLD-MATCHED vs NON-MOLD-MATCHED WHEELS:
"Mold-matched" refers to the mold number inside the wheel. The theory is that each mold differs slightly and using 4 different molds means that all of the wheels have different defects. All of those defects create friction and slow down the car. Using matched wheels reduces those variables and decreases drag. Of course, I true ALL of my wheels so that they are as perfect as humanly possible, but starting with mold-matched wheels may give you an edge over your competition.

STREAMLINE SHAPE:
The body is designed to give your car the best aerodynamics and least amount of air resistance, making it faster and lighter. The nose is angled up in front so that when the pin drops, your car gets a head start out of the gate! Simplicity is key: the rest of the body is tapered for aerodynamics and to facilitate our time-tested weight distribution trade-secrets.

SPECIALLY TREATED WOOD BLOCK:
I've taken the original block of wood from the Official Boy Scout derby kit and treated it so that even the wood, at its very core, assists in the optimal weight distribution of your car, making it faster!

STRATEGIC WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION:
I've done the hard work for you. I've figured out the car's center order of gravity; the optimum position for weight placement to maximize the potential energy of your car. Your car has been pre-weighted to give it the most “push” down the ramp for maximum speed.

SANDED and ROUNDED:
The smoother the car feels, the faster it is! I want your car to be the fastest around, so I've taken the time to go over your car with 3 different levels of sanding! This reduces air resistance enabling you to beat out the competition.

SMOOTH PAINT JOB:
Your car even looks fast while standing still!! 3 layers of shiny paint give it a clear-coat looking finish that minimizes air resistance and make it shiny and fast. Please feel free to add your own decals or sharpie design to make the paint job your own!

FLAWLESS WHEELS:
Your wheels have been perfectly rounded to reduce friction and give your car optimum speed. When the wheels come out of the original kit, they are not truly round. I've tuned them to make them perfectly round and free of mold defects.

HIGH POLISHED AXLES:
I've used our race-winning secret polishing technique on your car's axles. Our high-polishing technique maximizes your wheel's spin and minimizes the wheel's friction on the axle's hubs giving your car unsurpassed speed.

PERFECTLY ALIGNED AXLES:
I've taken the time to align the axles of your car so that it tracks straight down the track. This keeps it from bouncing and hitting the sides, which creates frictions and slows your car down. I've aligned the axles so that your car runs on 3 wheels. This means a little less drag as it goes down the incline and is one more technique that gives you an edge over the competition.

WEIGHTED to 4.8 oz:
Because scales vary and I don't want you to get disqualified, I've weighted your car to 4.8oz. Included in your kit are 2 - 0.1oz external weights. Glue on with super glue (not included). Instructions to follow regarding the optimum weight placement and maximum speed.
