These vintage slingback high heeled beauties are made of fine, soft suede, in black. Fenton Last, for Saks Fifth Avenue. The vamp features a scallop along the outer edge, embellished with a gold-toned infinity shaped fascinator ornament. The heels are statuesque. An elegant, rectangular gold-toned buckle secures the slingback straps. Classic Midcentury mode. Circa 1950s.
The insoles are saddle tan leather, stamped in gold lettering: Saks Fifth Avenue Fenton Last. Stamped Size 7AA for Narrow (definitely also fits a 6 1/2 Medium). Please refer to the following measurements to ensure the best fit.

Heel height: 3 5/8 inches
In wonderful, clean and well tended condition. The suede is in excellent condition, with no stains or discolorations and no issues of any kind. The gold-tone embellishment and buckle order are also in excellent condition. The leather sole is intact, but pitted where it touches the pavement.
Saks Fifth Avenue's Fenton Last shoes were, for the most part, made by M. Lauer, but also by David Evins and Mabel Julianelli. Examples of Evins and Julianelli's footwear are represented in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
