God's Knot or the braiding of three cords is derived from a passage in Ecclesiastes 4:12 order which assures that "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves, but a cord of three strands is not quickly broken" - symbolizing the union of God with husband and wife. The groom will hold this lovely heart with three attached strands. The bride then braids the strands together. A reading of the scripture by the priest or pastor may be offered while the braiding is accomplished, thereby helping to explain the meaning of the ceremony to the wedding guests. The three cords can be other colors (if available) and the object to which they are attached as well as other design elements can be decided between the client and the designer (in this case, me). The solid heart in the 6th photo can hold the scripture or the couple's names and wedding date and can be painted and decorated as requested by the clients. Photos 7 and 8 are an example of this version (front and back). NOTE: This item is generally ready to ship in 3 - 5 days once purchased.
