This interesting young lady appears to be a bit of a frankenstein -- She has a head/neck marked AM co and her body is stamped Madame Hendren. She is approx. 20" long and we are guessing she is from the 1940's. She has a really sweet face! Her face paint is good though it is rubbed off on the tip of her nose. Her face has some minor crazing. Her wig appears to be mohair and needs some work/styling. It's short but fairly thick. Her pretty tin sleep eyes work well She is missing some eyelashes. Her lip paint is scuffed off a bit but she does have a tongue in her mouth. Her head/neckplate is held onto her body with old tape. We peeled back some of that tape so we could see the mark. Her arms have tape around them as well. And, believe it or not, even though she's kind've taped together she really is a pretty solid doll (if you pick her up by her head her body is still firmly attached). The paint on her arms and legs is flaked off in areas revealing a lighter white area - especially on her feet. She has some chipping off of her finger tips and toe tips. She has some compo chipped off/missing on the back of her left arm. Her cloth stuffed body is in fairly good shape though it does have a patch sewn into it under one arm. She has the light soiling, dings and crazing expected of a girl her order age. Her clothes are not original. She could really use a nice dress and a hair style! She's different but still pretty cute! Doll stand not included.
