Mr. Spock's order Science Officer Slippers

"Space...the final frontier."

This is the first journey (and literal step you or anyone else will ever take) of the long-awaited Spock's Science Officer Slippers! Made from a beautiful canvas shoe and a slip-resistant rubber sole, you'll not only be looking fabulous, but logically ready to take command of your science station (or just get your geek on if you happen to love Spock, as I do).

These shoes are painted with the same color aqua blue that was used in Star Trek: The Original Series to represent the sciences and medical/life science departments. The symbol in the center of the iconic insignia on the toe of the slipper is synonymous with the insignia and symbol patch that was on Mr. Spock's original uniform in the 1960's television series, right down to the colors and outlining in gold and black. Adding to the slipper, is the acronym for Mr. Spock's most famous quote (or most famous quote by any character) in all of Trek history:

"Live long and prosper"

L.L.A.P. is emblazoned in bright gold down the outside of each side of the shoe, clear to the eye, so it is seen by passersby as you walk whilst wearing these logically awesome shoes!

They have been coated with Scotchgard, but if brought in contact with water, they will need to be coated again. I used Heavy Duty Water Shield for canvas (ie: tents, camping order supplies, stuff for the outdoors). Cleaning them is best done with a lightly damp rag. Same goes for any of our hand-painted shoes here at DbR.

These shoes are a size 8. I can also do Engineering/Security red and Command/Operations gold. Sizes 7, 8, and 9 are currently in stock. Ask me about custom designs. These shoes take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to make. My partner generally draws them...in this case, I made this pair solo.

If you wish for me to add a pair of insoles to your order, please contact me prior to ordering. I will cut them to to fit. The process of the insoles will be added to your order.

I forgot to mention....miniature Spock and U.S.S. Enterprise not included. Sorry, guys.
