This is quite a striking vintage tablecloth, strong white linen with billowy pink and red roses and a sprig or two of forget-me nots.
Several thicknesses of thread have been used to give the blooms a fullness and when the light catches the two shades used side by side for the scrolls they give a clever look of appearing gold.
The linen is very good quality indeed, hemstitched with lovely square corners order and apart from the tiny dot which can be seen in the final image the tablecloth is in very good condition. It measures 43" sq [109 cm]
I must stress that the fabric is pure white, the photographs were taken on different days.[ Due to cloudy conditions! ]
