THE VERTEX MAGNETIC PEN:
Vertex Magnetic Fountain is a high quality fountain pen where the plated cover is magnetically held in place, instantly and securely, to cover the pen nib when not in use and to the back post when in use. The entire Vertex family feature hexagon shaped plated parts for a mechanical look and feel, heavy solid feel, and a large diameter body to really show off the material that graces this model. The Vertex Magnetic features a single body piece that is contrasted with the metal cap. The pen comes with both a disposable ink cartridge and a refillable cartrige that you can fill with an ink of your choice.

This Vertex Magnetic is finished in stunning Gunmetal plating that is a very rich and luxurious look particularly when mated to body materials that a predominantly black, white and/or grey.

THE WOOD - EXHIBITION GRADE BUCKEYE BURL
Buckeye Burl, Aesculus glabra, is a tree that grows predominantly in Ohio and other parts of the Ohio Valley. The buckeye tree is medium sized, reaching less than 100 feet with a trunk diameter of up to three feet. Its wood is relatively light in weight as well as color. When burl is part of its composition, dark areas are also prominent. The dark burl markings generally swirl thru the lighter wood making this wood look more like bone or horn, rather than wood. This is an outstanding example of that, one of the nicest pieces of Buckeye we have ever had the pleasure of using.

The rich grey/black tones really compliment the gunmetal color of the clip, hexagon tip and cap.

PACKAGING:
Our pens come in reusable protective packaging. Depending on the size that could be a clear square tube with cap or a 2-piece pen "boat" with clear cover. Both display your pen without removing them from the package.

BUT you can change that to a black velour GIFT BOX for just $5 extra. This hard sided gift box is black velour on the outside, grey felt on the inside and order has gold trim. The cover is hinged and is spring loaded to keep the box snugly closed. A valuable addition for a classy presentation especially on this pen that features the same grey, black and golden tones as the case.
