Mi order Amigos - watercolor and crayon on paper, Grant Powers

This watercolor was painted on Grant Powers 1950 trip to Mexico. Although primarily known as a military artist and cartoonist, Powers worked in a variety of media. He took several trips to Mexico in the late forties and fifties.

This excellent painting measures 17 1/2 x 14 3/4 with the matte; the visible order sheet is 10 1/4 x 8 1/4.
