Hen wood duck order decoy original paint!!

Every time I run across these old duck decoys, I always take alittle time to appreciate this amazing art form! They started life as a tool, used by sportsmen. Now they have a second life as American order folk art and art collectibles! Many decoys are created now solely for their beauty as art. But these are my favorites, they were used! Some had their original “weights” to help them stay buoyant in the water! Some had blobs of lead screwed to the bottom others had large bolts! One had a spark plug! Anything they had laying around the shop!! Please note I have removed the weights for best shipping rates. They display great and are sure to start a conversation! The cork body is missing in several places. But check out the carving and detail on the head! Looks amazing! There is 1/75 on the bottom. I would guess that's the last time this decoy was repainted “touched up” very cool!!
