Only 10 left, they are selling so fast I had to pull some and plant some for us as well.
Now Northern gardeners can enjoy growing delicious figs at home. The plant will die back to ground level in the colder climates, which is normal. In the spring, the plant will grow back and produce up to 8 pounds of fruit beginning in middle of summer until the first fall frost. Chicago Hardy Fig plants have striking, vibrant leaves that have a similar shape to oak leaves, only much larger. Figs are incredibly healthy and are free of fat and cholesterol. Figs have the highest content of minerals and have more fiber than any other fruit. The flavor of the firm fruits are outstanding, I prefer eating them fresh, but dried figs are a treat during the winter months. Planting space is best at 15 - 20 feet.
Hardiness Zones 5-10.
