Vintage Tea Cup & Saucer, Mini China Teacup, White w/ Pink, Childs Play, Kitchen Decor, Dining order Room Decoration

The beautiful little oriental teacup and saucer set are in excellent condition. This gorgeous mini teacup and saucer set is translucent when held up to a light source which indicates they are fine china. The tea cup and saucer have gold colored trim around their rims and on the handle of the cup. The bottom markings show they were made in China. However, the additional markings are in another language - presumably Chinese. Interestingly, while "Made in China" is a good indicator that this beautiful teacup set was made for export, the additional writing indicates they were made for native Chinese or someone who knows the language. While the miniature size indicates they could have been made for children, it is highly possible this gorgeous teacup and saucer set were made for ceremonial or tea-sipping purposes. For example, while guests for tea time would be offered a standard size teacup and saucer, persons simply dropping by the home would be offered something much smaller as simply a cultural practice.

There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repair places on the beautiful teacup and saucer set. There are some very slight vintage wear, age, and rub places on the teacup and saucer - mainly on the bottom of each round foot.

The decorative possibilities for this gorgeous white fine china tea cup and saucer set are many. The china cabinet or display curio would be enhanced by the addition of these beautiful chinaware pieces. ***Note on Measurements: All measurements are taken and described as close as possible. Where only an approximate measurement is available we will put approximately in the listing.

***Our Measurements for clothing are taken with the garment laying flat with closures fastened - zippers are zipped and buttons buttoned.

***The Bust measurement is obtained by measuring across the flat chest of the garment from armpit to armpit and then multiplying that number by two. To get the chest measurement simply divide the Bust by two.

***We clean our vintage inventory of surface dirt and dust before we list it on our site. We would not want to receive something dirty so we are not going to send our customers something with original dust or dirt. Therefore, after shipping we generally recommend all items be cleaned before use. ***As is order common with pre-owned items they could have little marks that are not so easily detectable - we refer to these as vintage wear and rub marks. While I do personally inspect each item, I can miss small marks that may not show up with regular inside light. That being said, I try to be very picky and careful to make sure the details are explained truthfully, honestly, and upfront.

***Virtually all pre-owned items have vintage wear and rub marks. This is simply a term that we have coined to point out that because: (1) they are older, (2) most likely they are not in their original plastic, wrapping, or packaging, (3) have been stored, (4) transported, (5) and handled - they are very likely to have little, small, or slight discolorations, marks, places, wear, etc. Hence, this is why we often have longer descriptions. We try very hard to make sure you know what we know.
