Antique Mohair 12" Bear, Comfort Bear, order England

order Vintage Bear, Handmade, Comfort Bear 12", White Mohair, England. Firmly stuffed with rags, jointed head for turning, hinged limbs for sitting and rust perle embroidery nose and claws. He has typically English, amber-glass eyes on wire over his stitched eyes. A homemade toy possibly during wartime shortages.
Measurements: 12 inches tall.
I do know that this is an English Bear as previous owner found him ‘For Sale” in a bundle of old toys on a trip to England.
Condition: Sad and lovable with some light, purple stains here and there, likely from rag stuffing.
He also got decorated with a vintage green ribbon by me, *16" Friend bear not available yet, shown for size, thank you.
