Vintage 1980s abstract KOOS van den akker tie • electric blue silk & linen quilted order patchwork necktie

Menswear piece by legendary Dutch born, New York designer Koos Van Den Akker. 1980s vintage era, this necktie is a rare find by the designer! Imaginative and fun design, and expert construction. Bold electric blue linen or raw woven silk fabric with appliquéd pattern of decorative fabrics at front. Fabrics are silks and cottons in simple black & white, and bright multi-color patterns. Medium width tie. Measures approximately 56 inches long and 3.25 inches across at widest point. Really nice, excellent condition with nothing to note!
