This is a freestanding whimsical handcrafted rustic wooden decorative fish on driftwood stand with an attached white finger starfish. The fish is made from a repurposed pine wood scraps from other projects; cut, sanded, painted, and sealed. The driftwood base was collected from a beach on the Chesapeake Bay banks in Virginia.

This lovely decorative fish is ideal for sitting on desktops, shelves, dressers, mantles, bay windows, or bathroom basins. Measures 19 ½ inches tall overall. Disassembled, the driftwood base stands 9 ½ inches tall, 3 ½ inches wide, and 3 ½ inches deep. The colorful wooden fish is 12 inches wide, 7 inches high, and ¾ inch deep. This item easily comes apart in two sections and will be shipped in two easy to assemble pieces.

This decorative fish's worn driftwood base show signs of distress, from being tossed around in the ocean, resulting in a one-of-a-kind artefact. The driftwood has been thoroughly dried and cleaned, After cutting the driftwood to size, I sanded it, and sealed with an application of finishing wax I then wrapped, and attached a piece of rope and fastened the white finger starfish for aesthetic purposes.
