This rosary makes a beautiful gift for Anglican and Protestant Christian adults. It features my handmade invitatory beads and cross made of dark turquoise polymer clay inlaid with handmade vibrant canework in several star patterns, checks, flowers, spoked wheels and spirals. These beads and cross were cured and retain their matte finish. The cross has an orange clay back deeply embossed with a music score highlighted with cobalt blue acrylic paint. The cross is 2 5/8" H (6.7 cm). It is signed on one edge. Its 28 week beads are 10 mm deep blue lapis lazuli gemstone beads, a gem inlaid on King Tut's golden funeral mask. They are cool to the touch and polished with no sharp edges. The rosary is 16 3/4" long (21.4 cm).

What makes my rosaries stand outs from others you might see are the metal beads clustered around my focals, in this case antiqued pewter floral bead caps, round discs with geometric patterns and even a tiny heart bead near the cross. Spacer beads are coveted Miyuki square, clear glass beads with light blue linings, and tiny orange seed beads with sparkly silver linings. The rosary is strung on nylon-coated multistrand steel beading wire for strength and flexibility that's sealed with a long sterling silver crimp bead that holds everything together. Polymer clay is a hardenable artist's grade of PVC -- the same material as white plumber's pipe. It is very durable, fadeproof, waterproof and very light weight.

This rosary comes with a brochure explaining the history and use of Anglican Protestant rosaries, with sample prayers. Carry this rosary in a small pouch or coin purse to protect it. “Pour” it into your palm and you are ready to pray. Treat it as jewelry; do not yank it forcefully by any one part. This simple care will allow your rosary to provide you with many years of service.
