A classic design with a surrealist twist. We take the ring's rectangular face and shape it by hand into a melting, twisting, fluid design. The diagonally stretched design is emphasized by using select grain patterns and wood, while the robust body of the ring balances the liquid surrealism of the design. For this offering we chose the light, crisp straight-grained maple wood.

We use an all-natural, environmentally friendly, biodegradable oil finish that is scratch and water-resistant.

What you see pictured are pieces I have made and represent what you are ordering. However, your ring will be unique to you and may vary slightly in color and grain pattern. Wood is a natural material, each piece is different and should be enjoyed for its individuality.

Our wood rings are not able to be resized once made. For your exact ring size, please visit a jeweler or jewelry counter and they will size you for free. Make sure to choose the most comfortable size for you, but be aware that your ring size can change during the day due to temperature, exercise, etc.

◆ Construction and Finish ◆
Every Kyklos ring is a time-intensive creation of love. It begins with hand-selected quality solid wood. The ring design is laid out to maximize the wood grain and the shaping process begins. When satisfied with the design, the ring then goes through a multi-step final sanding and finishing process. The result is a silky smooth semi-gloss finish that is durable, scratch-resistant, and water-resistant.

◆ Maintaining Your Ring ◆
To clean your ring, simply rub the surface with a soft rag or microfiber cloth. A rougher cloth and faster rubbing can also increase the shine of your ring. Over time, a new application of oil may help rejuvenate your ring (contact me for more details). Although our finish is very durable, the nature of wood requires some precautions. With proper care, your wood ring can last a lifetime.

◆ Precautions ◆
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, such as swimming, washing dishes, etc. If wet, wipe with a cloth and allow to air dry. Chemicals, cleaners, and high temperatures can stain or degrade the finish and/or wood. Extreme pressure, gripping, and impact with the hands may damage your wood ring.
